I still need to consider so many factors though, like:

*Am I mature enough to be in a relationship?
*Am I ready to be a married woman?
*Is it going to be the same when I get married?
*Or must I also be financially stable before I enter such promising relationship?
When all of my friends are all enjoying the bliss of girl & boy relationship, I guess it's only normal that somehow my fragile heart will also long for that same romantic approach with a special someone.
Yet then I wonder, will it be worth it?
Many are also aspiring to be in relationship but when they are actually there, when that moment of bliss ends and then reality takes place, it's not really that happily-ever-after story after all.
Anyhow, I am no longer naive when it comes to relationships. Believe it or not, the Lord did make me feel what it was like to be in an actual relationship. However, it was more like a disobedient daughter wanting to experience such wimpy tale in a wrong set of time. Unfortunately, the blissful wannabee story went a bit askew. Thanks to my overly insensitive hard headed heart.
Nonetheless, I don't want to whine about such tragedy. Lessons were learned, nothing major-major did happen, there were no broken bones or emotional breakdowns, only tears and mind-boggling lessons that I will never forget for the rest of my life.
So, to my entire single ladies out there who are insanely itching to try such tragedy themselves, here's a word of caution: CHILL!
Yes, I am serious. Please, please, don't lift those cutie-patootti baboon butts any further. I'm not saying this to discourage our lovely ladies/men out there but I've been there. I know the feeling of wanting it so badly and then drowning on my own tears, pride, disobedience and regrets. As women of God, we must never be too eager to be in such manner. Instead, our main focus must be on Jesus Christ, our bridegroom.
Thereby, without further ado, here are perks of being single for single ladies/men out there:
1. More Jesus, Less of me.
God is indeed awesome! Therefore, He must increase, we must decrease. Jesus Christ must always be at the center of our hearts single or not. This is not an option but a MUST to every Christian. We must never replace material possessions or some boy/girl to our number one HERO who died on the cross to save us from our miserable self.
If we put Jesus Christ first at the center of our life, everything else will surely follow.
2. We can focus more on the goodness of God.
God is good and just at the same time. Our relationship with our family, spouse and friends must not prevent us in experiencing God’s blessings.
If you think that God is making you wait for no reason, you are definitely incorrect. I can sight so many self-will acts that made every person miserable but I’m just going to site one because I already wrote it on this blog “Follow God’s Design: Pursue Purity”.
Moving on, one example of self-will act is pre-marital sex. God is very distinctive about fornication. God designed the marriage bed for husbands and wives but most people violate the Biblical concept because of their lustful desires thereby leaving more people empty and wretched.

I believe the best relationship to be is with Jesus Christ. I mean, He has everything! He is very wealthy, very charismatic, very understanding, very caring, loving and superbly wise. Who wouldn't say "YES" to such wonderful guy, eh ladies?

In all truthfulness, I am very much satisfied that I can fully experience God's amazing peace and love through Jesus Christ. He has done so much in my life and I am blessed to have known Him. I don't deserve His love and mercy but He welcomed me with open arms despite my imperfections.
3. Waiting becomes a Joyful process.
To all my beautiful sisters/brothers in Christ, please don't be too eager to be in a relationship. Please be patient and trust God. If you are not happy being “single” then you will never be happy married.
We must put in mind that God’s plan is perfect. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways. Thereby, we must devote our entire attention to Him before we aspire for something more.

Ladies, pursue God’s righteousness first and be intimate with Jesus Christ before you say “yes”. If someone is pursuing you, consider the following: Does he belong to God; does he respect you and your family; are you emotionally and spiritually ready for a commitment and does he follow the Biblical design of courtship and marriage?
Gentlemen, focus first on your Heavenly Father, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are trying to pursue someone or currently courting someone, please consider the following: Are you financially, emotionally and spiritually ready for a commitment; and does she belong to God?
When does waiting become joyful?
Waiting becomes joyful if we are to keep ourselves occupied with God’s grace and love. If we put our hearts and minds mainly on God’s perfect will, we will be in awe when our God’s best finally arrives in an unexpected place and time.
To further address this, here’s another wonderful blog “Someone worth the wait” for you and for me.
So, I say this again to my ladies and gentlemen, wait patiently on God and He will do wonders in your life. Just you wait and see. He is faithful!
To God be all the glory and praise!
