Genuine vs. Bogus Obedience and Salvation

Genuine Obedience and Salvation-- a person who receives Jesus and does not conform in the world's system anymore; someone who makes Jesus the center of His life, someone who loves others like Jesus did and someone who humbles himself upon the Lord; selfless, forgiving, understanding and loving. A new creation in spirit; shares God's amazing love and unashamed to share the gospel; lost without God's guidance and word. Always have time for a quite time with the Lord; always willing to learn, prayerful and dependent to God; someone who will always choose Jesus despite everything.

Bogus Obedience and Salvation-- a person who receives Jesus but still love the world. Someone who is easily [still] blinded by the worldly system; says he/she loves Jesus but still sin freely; remembers Jesus only when he/she is in great distress; lack dedication and action; easily disappointed when problems come; prideful, arrogant, hateful, conceited, unforgiving, lustful and selfish. Someone who doesn't have a quite time with God's word; a know-it-all person and dependent to earthly possessions, and someone who tends to forget Jesus when exalted.

Are you a Genuine or a bogus believer???

Think again.
  • Love Jesus and love others.
  • We cannot serve two masters at the same time. It’s either Jesus or the world.
  • We must be God dependent people, not self-dependent.
  • We are saved by grace not by works.
  • Salvation means simply giving up everything. That includes our pride and worldly ambitions.
  • If we put God first in our lives, everything else will surely follow.
  • Genuine obedience and salvation don’t make you nor I perfect. We are sinners but saved by grace through Jesus Christ. Since we are a new creation, we are no longer blinded by sin but we become aware of our trespasses. Consequently, our fear and love for God results to indisputable submission.
