I thought I knew everything there is to know about the world. But I was wrong! Imagine yourself as the tiny black dot on a piece of paper and the universe being the whole white on the background. That's how small I see myself now that I realize that I am nothing without Jesus Christ.
I have known Jesus Christ ever since I was a little girl. Being raised by a Christian family, I was well taught about the Bible and I have memorized some of the verses that are written in it. However, the more I thought I knew everything there is to know about God and the Bible, I became ignorant of what really matters in life with Jesus Christ in it.
I thought the formula to happiness is when you are rich, smart, famous and well-dressed. I thought that when I finally have my own job and be able to have my own house, then, I'd be happy. But I was wrong. I wasted time studying, becoming popular at school and being super active on school activities, rather than knowing Christ intimately and having a personal relationship with Him. Because of my selfish ambitions, I became self-centered, mean, arrogant, prideful and conceited. Still I thought that with all the things that I had done, I can finally be happy.
I was wrong again. I was wrong about not forgiving my enemies, I was wrong about salvation through good works, I was wrong about my definition of happiness... I was wrong about everything.

The Lord Jesus loved everyone first. And because of God's love for us, He sent Jesus Christ to save us from eternal damnation. It was all about loving others and setting aside your own ambition and making Jesus Christ the center of your life.
I'm proud to say that because of Jesus Christ, I have set aside my ambitions and my pride. I have completely surrendered my will to Him. And for the first time in my life, all the problems, doubts and burdens vanished. The Lord taught me a great lesson that I will always remember. He gave me challenges that made me realize the importance of His great love.
I know that I can never be perfect. I will always continue to grow spiritually. But now with Jesus Christ by my side , I can finally be happy despite all the bad things that comes and go in my life.

If you are lost, seek Jesus Christ. He will wipe away your problems. He will wipe away your pain. Trust in the Lord with all your Heart and lean not on your own understanding.
