I started composing songs when I was 10 years old. My inspiration comes from Jesus and the struggles I go through in life. Sometimes, plights knock you down when you least expected but when that happens, the companion I get to express the tale about is with my guitar (plus my compo notebook and my fave blue pen to write on the lyrics).
Anyhow, just a quick backdrop (in case you are wondering about the love songs I made), I never had that certain feeling of falling in love when I started composing the songs. It just so happened that when I started strumming the guitar and writing the lyrics, the emotions came flowing in. I believe that's the magic of it, you can't force words into the melody, it comes out naturally.
