I see countless of men and women sacrificing purity for the sake of their so-called “love” and the worse thing is that most people encourage it.
In my case, I strongly believe that true love is about patiently waiting and looking forward to marriage because SEX is a precious gift from God that is supposed to be enjoyed only by married couples.
Society Today
I am very much disappointed of today’s generation for simply thinking that life is only limited to party, money, fame and sex. Many are indeed lost to the concept media has portrayed on how relationship must be. No wonder many are hurt, are in pain and losing their sanity to what is used to
be sacred in the eyes of God.

Foolish people say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They do all kinds of horrible and evil things. No one does anything good. –Psalm 53:1
Society today does not only disregard the concept of pre-marital sex but also encourage youth to use contraceptives to prevent unwanted pregnancy and illness.
But what about the emotional and spiritual damage it causes to a person? In truth, nobody really cares anymore because most people are more concerned about their selfish ambitions and lustful desires than pleasing God. Their calloused hearts are deaf to what God has to say about being pure in hearts and in mind.

Soul Ties
To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. -- Titus 1:15
Having different sexual partners can cause terrible damage to a person. Not everyone likes to admit that there really is no satisfaction to such habit yet they still do it anyway.
Why? Because they simply love the ecstasy it brings. It can be very addictive that it swallows a person whole. But when the spiral of excitement is gone-- that void inside becomes bigger, wanting people to want more and making it difficult to end.
Path to Self-destruction
Many are deceived into thinking that our wrong choices will not have bad consequences. That is why so many people are hooked to such profane lifestyles that they are no longer concerned about the effects. We can be like dumb sheep in the woods. We don’t think twice, we just do stupid things out of egotistic pattern. Notwithstanding, we are already hurting ourselves and we are leaving deep scars which makes us vulnerable to more sins and immoral choices in the future.
God’s Design
It is written on Hebrews 13:4 “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”
We must understand that God designed marriage for all-out pleasure and full satisfaction. He is not against sex, in fact, He intended it for married couples as both blessing and a gift. But people nowadays violate the Biblical principle of marriage. They have become calloused and unaware that they are on the route to self-harm.
If people would only listen, obey and take a moment to digest God’s word and live according to His will and purpose; there will be no broken dreams, sorrows, despair and emptiness. Sex is supposed to be beautiful but Satan doesn’t want us to follow the creator.
Thereby, evenso-called “Christians” are blinded to God’s pursuit to purity because they too are dragged away by their own selfish lustful desires.

When we don’t follow the Maker’s design on how to live life, we will never experience peace and rest. Our life will be like shallow waters, doomed to self-infliction and discouragements.
Hope in the Lord
If you are in distress and you need restoration, it is never too late! God forgives and He brings healing to the soul. If you are in doubt if you will ever be forgiven, Jesus Christ forgives. Just humble yourself upon the Lord and ask Him to heal you. If you’re an unbeliever and you desperately need healing, this is what you need to know:
- God loves you and wants you to have eternal life with Him (John 3:16)
- However, sin separates you from God (Romans 3:23).
- The good news is that Jesus is God’s solution to your sin problem. He is the only way to heaven (1 Peter 3:18)
- Therefore, you must repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus alone to save you (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- Upon believing and receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have a new life with complete assurance of salvation (1 John 5:13).
Do not excuse God’s Grace to keep on sinning!

To my fellow Christians who are in the path to self-destruction, I implore you to stop sinning and start choosing the path to righteousness. God’s saving grace must not be abused. Remember that how we live life is a picture of our genuine relationship with Christ. God is faithful and just. Turn away from immorality and repent!
Scriptures said, "Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins." -Hebrews 10:26
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him (1 John 3:6).
Thereby, we must repent and rest in the joy of the Lord!!!
